Description:
We research extremely fast processes taking place in molecules, crystals and nanoparticles after the absorption of light quantum. These processes include carrier dynamics in semiconductors, ultrafast events in organic dyes and primary processes in light-sensitive biological materials (e.g. photoactive proteins, their pigments and photosynthetic pigment-protein complexes). Additional area of research is corneal sculpting by femtosecond UV laser pulses.
There’s not so many of us, but we are ultrafast!
